Remo Caminada

Remo Caminada, born in 1974 in Vrin, Switzerland, trained as a building construction draughtsman, among others, before beginning his studies in interaction design in 2001 at the University of Design and Art in Zürich. In 2002 he switched to the visual design course, graduating in 2006. While stilla student he worked, among others, at Sean Perkins’s North Design and James Goggin’s Practise studio, both in London. Later he founded his own design office with seats in the Swiss Sagogn municipality, in Amsterdam and in Zürich. Remo Caminada has received many international awards, among others, Die schönsten Schweizer Bücher, 1st Chicago International Poster Biennial (Gold Medal), Golden Bee 8 – Moscow International Biennial of Graphic Design (Grand Prix), Warsaw International Poster Biennale and red dot design award.
