Chris Lee

Chris Lee is the founder and creative director of Asylum, a highly regarded creative company that comprises a design studio, a retail store, a workshop and a record label. Asylum is defined as an ideas company. Since its inception in 1999, the studio has worked on cross-disciplinary projects that include interactive design, product development, environmental and interior design, packaging, apparel design, branding, and graphic design. Its works received more than 60 international awards including The One Show and D&AD. Asylum has also been featured in more than 30 international magazines from around the world. Apart from his commercial work Chris Lee is also very active in the creative education in Asia, he has given guest lectures and talks at universities and conferences throughout the world. He represented Singapore twice as a design juror for the prestigious D&AD Awards in 2007 and 2009.
